Restorative/Yin/Gentle- It is said that only five minutes of restorative yoga can relieve all the stress from one’s day. This class will explore different styles of yoga incorporating specific yin poses that help to open up and elongate all the muscles in the body. It is a relaxing and rejuvenating class beneficial to any and all levels. This class is perfect for beginners.
Level I- A class geared toward beginners learning poses that help create a strong foundation. Although beginner friendly, all levels may find it enjoyable because of the focus on alignment, breath, the use of props, and the basic asanas that build strength and endurance.
Level I/II- A flow class designed to help bring awareness to the breath and alignment in basic to intermediate sequences. The poses are held for longer periods of time in order to build strength in the body; modifications and adjustments are introduced in order to properly get into the pose.
Level II- An energizing class building on key foundational poses with new and exciting twists. A focus on various breathing techniques such as Uijayi and Kapala Bhakti will be introduced and utilized in order to take any student to their next level.
Level II/III- A class building on the asanas practiced in Level II. This class will increase strength and raise fitness and endurance levels in a fun and challenging way. Advanced asanas will be explored while connecting breath with
Hour of Power- Asanas combined with interval training, plyometrics, Pilates, Kundalini… the sky is the limit. A strong focus on the core, back, gluts, and thighs while promoting proper alignment and various breathing techniques will enliven and detoxify the body.
Vigorous Kripalu- Yogi Dan‚ Äôs class is centered on the inner experience and inward focus, allowing the mind to be in the present moment. You can expect a full body experience beginning with warm ups followed by dynamic vinyasa flows with an emphasis on holding postures to fully experience them and concluding in deep relaxation to bask in the fruits of your practice.
